- SOUND REDUCTION: Reduces sound transfer, making the floor quieter in the home
- MOISTURE PROTECTION: Helps prevent mold, mildew, and other issues related to vapor transmission
- THERMAL BARRIER: Decreases both heat and cold transfer through the floor by as much as 15%, leaving a warmer floor in the winter and cooler floor during the summer
- SOFTNESS UNDER FOOT: Increases the softness under foot but dense enough to support the locking system of the floor. Also helps to level any minor sub floor imperfections.
